Adirondack Children's Troupe is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors to offer:

  • a quality theater experience and
  • affordable tuition costs

ACT relies on parent involvement.  Parents serve as support staff for the theater production in which their child is registered.  The Student/Parent Information and Responsibilities "Fact Sheet" clearly explains the commitment of the student and parent(s).  Registration requires parents and student submit a signed copy of the "Fact Sheet", illustrating everyone's understanding of the commitments involved.

Tuition per cast member - $230** - for Summer 2008

**An additional deposit of $20 for scripts is required from all cast members
(script deposit refunded at the end of the production if returned on time and in good condition)

**In an effort to keep tuition costs down, this year we will be doing a candy fundraiser. All children will be asked to participate and an additional $40 will be collected from each child at the time of registration. If the child sells all the candy they will earn the $40 back!

 Tuition is to be paid in full upon registration, including script deposit and fundraiser.

REFUNDS GIVEN UP UNTIL ONE WEEK PRIOR TO AUDITION DATE. NO REFUNDS GIVEN AFTER THAT TIME.

Registration Policy

Registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Each production has a set number of roles, and only enough children to fill those roles will be registered. All others will be placed on a numbered waiting list.

  Although registration by mail is an option, it is strongly suggested that registration be brought in person on the opening date of registration to:

Registrations received by mail will be considered following in-person registration on the first day of the registration process.

You must be present to register your child. Registrations sent in with other parents will not be accepted.
